Why Active Law Enforcement Matters
We do not employ your average security guard. If you want someone who is just a body in a uniform to observe and report, Squad is not for you. Quality truly matters. Every officer assigned to your detail is an active, sworn officer with full statutory authority and Indiana Law Enforcement Academy training and certification. All officers are armed with their department issued firearm and a police patrol vehicle (some exceptions may apply). Depending on your needs, officers can deploy in full agency patrol uniform, a relaxed polo uniform, or discrete plainclothes.

Specialized protection dedicated to the preservation of human life, conflict peacekeeping, rapid active threat neutralization, and crisis management.

Once we receive your request, the Detail Coordinator will reach out to you as soon as possible to follow up and gather further details on the requested assignment. After evaluating your operational needs and reaching an agreement, we broadcast the detail to our local network of officers.
All officers are employed by Squad Security on an as-needed basis for off-duty details outside their primary agency shifts. Once an officer accepts the request, Squad’s Detail Coordinator gets them scheduled, provides an operational overview, and connects them directly with your point of contact. Rates & Policies
Our minimum baseline billing rate is $75/hour per officer. However, custom quotes are generated for every request based on the specific nature of the detail. Factors such as risk level, potential for conflict, crowd dynamics, presence of alcohol, outdoor/extreme weather, traffic control, short-notice and holiday scheduling may result in a higher hourly rate. Late night operations (post-midnight) have a baseline billing rate of $90/hour. Conversely, long-term, multi-year contracts or requests for multiple officers in a low-impact, indoor environment may qualify for a reduced contract rate. Please keep in mind that all officers work these events on their off-time away from their families. It is our guarantee that we will not accept requests that do not make it worthwhile for our officers. Each shift must be a minimum of 4 hours at a billing rate of $75/hour per officer, with the minimum total rate being $300 per event/shift.
If a scheduled shift or event is cancelled within 24 hours prior to start, a cancellation fee of $300 will be billed. Many officers utilize personal vacation time to cover off-duty details, and we pledge to ensure their time is respected and protected.
To maintain the professional integrity and safety standards of active law enforcement personnel, Squad Security officers will not be deployed for security details at bars, nightclubs, or alcohol-centric nightlife venues. Furthermore, Squad Security strictly prohibits providing protection services or security details for ANY unlawful operation, unpermitted activity, or illegal enterprise under any circumstances.
